Watch: Courtney Barnett Plays ‘Avant Gardener’ On Fallon
Watch Courtney make her US television debut.

Aussie newcomer Courtney Barnett made her US television debut last night, with her band (drummer Dave Mudie and bassist Bones Sloane) running through a rendition of ‘Avant Gardener’.
Taken from ‘A Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas’ (gaining a re-release on Mom + Pop), Courtney wore a t-shirt for local Melbourne band Atolls. She also got to hang out with Aerosmith backstage; just another addition to a long line of surreal happenings for this fast-rising musician.
Courtney Barnett arrives in the UK for a tour next month. Check out dates below the player and the Aerosmith pic.
