Watch FKA twigs debut new ‘Figure 8’ song live

Following the release of last year’s ‘LP1’, FKA twigs has started showcasing new material for the first time.

‘Figure 8’ - viewable below - gained its first play at Melbourne’s 170 Russell venue, 29th January. Bass-heavy, it’s a percussively loose blast of noise that neatly follows on from the debut album’s direction.

FKA twigs’ output has been pretty prolific up to now - before ‘LP1’, she released both ‘EP1’ and ‘EP2’ within the space of a year. During 2014’s Mercury Prize ceremony, she told journalists to expect new material very soon.

FKA twigs plays two headline shows at London Roundhouse - 19th and 20th February 2015. She’s also been confirmed for Field Day 2015.
