Watch Haim Cover Beyonce’s ‘XO’
Sister trio brought some Esteyonce factor to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Behold, the dawning of a new era: It’s Esteyonce time!
Este and the rest of the Haim trio hitched up to BBC Radio 1 to perform a cover of Beyonce’s ‘XO’ in the Radio 1 studios. Beyonce’s already a dab hand at bassface, so it seemed like a sensible meeting of minds. Their cover keeps the original’s bolshy balladry, but it also adds in some clicking fingers and sharp-edged yelps.
