Watch: Halls Debuts New Japanese-Subtitled ‘Reverie’ Video

A highlight from Halls’ 2012 debut ‘Ark’ - which has just gained an extended re-release via. No Pain In Pop - the video for ‘Reverie’ shows Sam Howard, black shirt against dark backdrop, staring into the camera and singing the track word-for-word.

The appeal being that the video comes along with some Japanese subtitles, which adds a strange twist to an eerily-shot clip. It’s actually even more haunting if you watch it in silence. Although with that, you’d be missing out on the gorgeous, spacious track itself.
