Watch Jonny Greenwood perform with the London Contemporary Orchestra while you still can
Performance is streaming for the next 72 hours online.
For the next 72 hours (from around 3PM GMT on 26th November onwards), Boiler Room is streaming a Jonny Greenwood performance with the London Contemporary Orchestra on loop.
The show took place last night at Manchester’s Royal Albert Hall. The Radiohead guitarist took to a compositional role, performing sections from ‘There Will Be Blood’ and ‘Inherent Vice’, as well as performing new music.
As part of the performance, audience members were actively encouraged to use their mobile phones as a form of participation. For a new piece entitled ‘Seven’, Greenwood and LCO “placed control” of electronically generated tones” into the audience themselves. See the concept explained in full here.
For the next 72 hours, watch the performance below.
Last week, Jonny confirmed in a recent interview that Radiohead are in an Oxford studio, working on new material.
