Watch Kanye West join The Weeknd for surprise Coachella set
Yeezy played solo cuts while on stage with Abel Tesfaye.
Kanye West couldn’t possibly stay quiet for two consecutive weekends. After Madonna snogs, opinion-splitting Drake sets and Florence Welch’s broken foot stole the show at last week’s Coachella, the second leg was reserved for Yeezy’s unexpected entrance.
The rapper joined The Weeknd on stage in Indio, California. Linking up with Abel Tesfaye, he played solo cuts alongside some of The Weeknd’s own material.
Amazingly, the next time we’ll be seeing Kanye at a festival is on Pyramid Stage-topping duties for Glastonbury 2015. New album ‘So Help Me God’ has every chance of being out before then, too.
Kanye played ‘All Day’, ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’, ‘Black Skinhead’ and ‘Don’t Like (Remix)’.
