When she’s not forgetting what time it is while dancing in a Peckham club, Katy B writes chart-bothering songs and massive ballads like ‘Crying For No Reason’. By the looks of things, she also finds a few spare minutes to listen to fellow UK pop stalwarts.

Her cover of One Direction’s ‘Story Of My Life’ might look unlikely on paper, but she doesn’t alter an awful lot of the original in this In:Demand session, instead opting for the stripped-back piano route.

Katy B’s ‘Little Red’ album has changed its release date to 10th February. It’s out via Rinse/ Columbia.
