Watch King Krule Play ‘A Lizard State’ On Conan

This is a must-watch for any King Krule fan, or indeed for anyone thinking the core of his sound lies in the heart of South London. Archy Marshall’s taking off big-time Stateside, a new performance on Conan being a smoky jazz bar-channelling crowning moment.

Marshall and co’s performance could easily stand out as one of the TV greats in 2013, the loose suits of his touring band being contrasted against some smartly-dressed members in a brass section. ‘A Lizard State’ comes to life, the ‘6 Feet Beneath The Moon’ track finding its natural home.
