Watch: London Grammar Air New ‘Sights’ Video

Giorgio Testi directs a pan-out video in an old-fashioned auditorium.

In the space of just over a year, London Grammar have gone from little known newcomers to a band selling out two nights at Brixton Academy. It’s difficult to think of an ascent faster than that (beyond Lorde, obviously) in recent years. A lot of that’s got to come down to the trio’s ability to translate intimate recordings in a live setting, as evidenced here in a new video for ‘Sights’. Giorgio Testi directs a seemingly low-key performance that gradually pans out to display a huge auditorium. Weirdly, vocalist Hannah Reid ends up in the audience. It’s like a bonus scene from The Prestige.

London Grammar play the following June dates:

01 Plymouth, Pavilions
03 London, Brixton Academy
04 London, Brixton Academy
06 Wolverhampton, Civic Hall
