Watch: New Teaser Video From No Doubt

We know No Doubt are definitely making a comeback (hurray!) and we also know that the album, ‘Push And Shove’, will drop on September 24th (double hurray!). However, with only the odd snippet of music from ‘in the studio’ vblogs, there was still some doubt about the band’s comeback sound - but a new trailer for first single ‘Settle Down’ provides a few more hints.

No Doubt have also settled the score on rumours that they will be working with Diplo - they will in fact be working with production duo Major Lazer, a joint venue masterminded by Diplo and Switch.

At 47 seconds long, there is still a lot of guesswork to be done, but it would seem No Doubt are sticking with some trusted allies. The trailer, and final video, is directed by Sophie Muller, a long-time collaborator who has worked with the band on many of their music videos, including ‘Don’t Speak’. Having also directed music videos for Beyonce, Bjork, and The Cardigans, Muller is no stranger to colourful pop videos, and with Stefani and co. flouncing around on top of a gaudily coloured fairground truck, along with flashing drum kits and plenty of dry ice, ‘Settle Down’ is as bright as it gets.
