Watch: No Joy Unveil ‘Hare Tarot Lies’ Video
The ‘Wait To Pleasure’ album is out now - this is a real standout.
Smoking, big colourful explosions, some creepy forestry. Three things that crop up in the new No Joy video; three from about a couple of hundred vivid images that lodge themselves in your head when you play their huge, evocative second album ‘Wait To Pleasure’.
There really is no waiting around. It’s pleasure from the off, this record. ‘No Joy have developed from an interesting band, into one to cherish’, stated Sam Cornforth in his album review.
The new video’s all about the flurried shots and sense of escape that so emboldens the record itself.
Laura Lloyd from the band spoke about the new record in a recent DIY interview: ‘I think the record has a couple of newer ideas and more experimentation. It is hard for me to describe it, but I think it is really eclectic, there is a lot of variety, which makes sense because we took three years to put out another record in that time we were going all over the place.’
