Watch: Pixies Air ‘What Goes Boom’ Video
Joey Santiago meets a cruel end in this intergalactic boom-tastic new video.

An actual Pixies reunion seemed improbable enough. Guitarist Joey Santiago being blown up in a desert? This takes the biscuit.
Taken from the newly-formed band’s ‘EP-1’, this ‘What Goes Boom’ song is a mesh of guitar stabs and fully-loaded, charging riffs. It’s very boom-like, as it happens; completely tailor-made for some gore-tastic band explosions.
Most of the clip is a series of intergalactic landscapes, but wait ‘til you hit the centrepiece.
