Watch Radiohead perform ‘The Tourist’ for the first time in nearly a decade
Radiohead kicked off their latest US tour in support of last year’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ at Miami’s American Airlines Arena last night (30th March), treating fans to a whopping 24-track set. As reported by Pitchfork, the gig featured all your Radiohead favourites, including ‘Airbag,’ ‘Idioteque,’ ‘Weird Fishes/ Arpeggi’ and ‘No Surprises.’ But would you believe us if we said that included in that set was ‘The Tourist,’ a track from ‘OK Computer’ that the band haven’t played live in nine years? No? Well luckily one fan in the front row was in the right position to capture the moment. The footage also captured some of the band’s latest stage production, with Thom Yorke being pretty much silhouetted against a giant, burning sun. Pitchfork also reported that at one point during the gig, Jonny Greenwood also accidentally blasted the first second or so of Bruno Mars’ ‘That’s What I Like,’ though we’re pretty sure that wasn’t intended to be part of the production… Watch Radiohead perform ‘The Tourist’ in Miami below.
