Watch: Solomon Grey Unveil ‘Gascarene Sound’ Video

new track ‘Gascarene Sound’ is floaty. Not like a pair of armbands or a plastic football. More like a serene, calming presence; maybe the first time your panicking limbs decide to swim rather than get conquered by the water.

The associating video is suitably aqueous, then. A peering set of eyes look at the camera from within the water. Everything is still, sweetly static. The distant sound of marching drums step in and tiny bubbles enter the frame. Director Thom Undrell’s done a magnificent job of matching the song’s touching emotions with something similarly affecting, visually.
