Watch Spoon cover The Cramps on Conan
The cover comes from Spoon’s contribution to the soundtrack for the remake of ’80s horror classic, Poltergeist.
Last night (3rd June) Spoon appeared on Conan to perform their contribution from the soundtrack to the remake of classic ’80s horror movie Poltergeist, an all-guns-blazing cover of The Cramps’ ‘TV Set’. Fitting for a horror soundtrack the performance came riddled with stuttering, unhinged lyricism and wild, jarring guitar solos adding a level of madness to the already brazen original.
The Poltergeist remake came out last month and also featured musical contributions from the likes of Joanna Gruesome and Bleached.
