Watch Weezer play ‘Ain’t Got Nobody’ on Jimmy Kimmel
Track’s taken from ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’.
Last night saw Weezer bringing their ‘Ain’t Got Nobody’ call to arms to Jimmy Kimmel Live.
This was Rivers Cuomo and co.’s second US television appearance on the back of new album ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’, where they played the outdoor stage. Previously they appeared on The Tonight Show.
Watch the performance below. ‘Everything Will Be Alright in the End’ is out now, picking up a four star review from DIY, saying: “In short, it sounds like Weezer. Those magic chord changes, the wiry guitar licks, Rivers Cuomo’s awkward, faltering vocals – these may be brand new songs, but they’re all so immediately familiar that, as the title may suggest, they create one almighty aural comfort blanket.”
It’s their best album in a decade, cemented by Cuomo’s newly charged ambition - he says he wants “to have it all” in a DIY interview from this month’s magazine.
