Download Festival unveils Green Day, Sleep Token and Korn as 2025 headliners
Over 90 other bands have also been confirmed for the rock and metal weekender’s 22nd edition.
Download has shared its first big announcement for 2025: Green Day, Sleep Token, and Korn will all headline the famous Donington Park festival for the first time next year.
Due to take place from 13th-15th June 2025, Download’s 22nd edition (dubbed DLXXII) is set to see former DIY cover stars and punk rock legends Green Day make their festival debut by topping the bill on night one, while masked breakout stars Sleep Token will take to the main stage on Saturday. Closing out proceedings will be nu-metal icons Korn, who, since forming in 1993, have inspired the likes of Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and even Fontaines DC.
Among the other names confirmed for 2025 are Weezer, Sex Pistols (featuring Frank Carter), Poppy, McFly and many more - over 90 more, to be exact.
Tickets for DLXXII will go on general sale from 9pm tomorrow (Thursday 14th November) via the festival’s website.
In the meantime, you can grab a copy of our Green Day-covering print mag here, and revisit our cover interview with the band and check out Download’s full 2025 lineup (so far) below.
