Weezer debut new single, ‘Back to the Shack’
It’s the first full song from new album, ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’.
Weezer are due to return with tenth studio album, ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’ this autumn. The record, produced by long-time collaborator and the producer of both the ‘Blue’ and ‘Green’ self-titled albums, Ric Ocasek, is set for release on 29th September here in the UK via Island (and through Republic the following day Stateside).
Today (21st July), the band have shared the first single from the record, in the shape of ‘Back to the Shack’, a song which has been viewed widely online following its live debut on the Weezer cruise earlier this year - and featured in a Weezer Wednesday update earlier this month.
They visited LA radio station KROQ to talk about the new record, and give the recorded version of the song its debut.
Weezer have various live dates arranged Stateside throughout the summer and through the remainder of 2014.
