Wet Leg make a mighty return with news of second album ‘moisturizer’
The Isle of Wight favourites have also shared the LP’s first single and announced a short run of UK tour dates.

The wait is over: Wet Leg are back! The Isle of Wight outfit - who rocketed to indie stardom in 2022 with their self-titled debut album - have announced that its follow up, ‘moisturizer’, will be released on 11th July.
Previously a duo consisting of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, the former DIY cover stars have now expanded into a five-piece band proper, with Ellis Durand (bass), Henry Holmes (drums), and Joshua Mobaraki (guitar, synth) officially joining the party.
“It was very natural that we would write the second record together,” Rhian has said of this new dynamic. “We focussed on [thinking] ‘is this going to be fun to play live?’”
Having spent the years since the arrival of ‘Wet Leg’ touring relentlessly, the band pressed pause on live shows in March 2024 to write ‘moisturizer’, working once again with cult producer Dan Carey.
A record that promises to be, according to a press release, “punchier, prettier and more perverted where it counts”, their second effort has been introduced via lead single ‘catch these fists’ - a punchy slice of dance-punk that sees Rhian make war, not love in her now-signature sprechgesang.
You can revisit our cover feature with Wet Leg (from this time three years ago!) here, and check out the official video for ‘catch these fists’ below.
What’s more, to celebrate the news Wet Leg have also confirmed details of a May 2025 UK tour, which will see them play venues in Birmingham, London, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Manchester ahead of a string of festival appearances this Summer.
Tickets for the five newly-announced UK dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday 11th April; check out Wet Leg’s full upcoming live schedule below.
