And the winner is...
Wolf Alice, FKA twigs and Young Fathers win big at AIM Independent Music Awards 2015
Brainchild Festival picked up the Golden Welly Award, as voted for by DIY readers.

Last night (8th September), Wolf Alice and FKA twigs were the big winners at the AIM Independent Music Awards 2015, with Young Fathers and Skepta also taking home prizes.
Wolf Alice were awarded the Independent Breakthrough of the Year, while FKA twigs was given Independent Track of the Year for ‘Two Weeks’.
Young Fathers followed up their Mercury Prize success by picking up the Best ‘Difficult’ Second Album prize, while Skepta was handed the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award for his impact on grime over the last ten years.
DIY readers - that’s you! - voted towards the Golden Welly Award for Best Independent Festival. That went to the East Sussex based Brainchild Festival.
Elsewhere, Transgressive Records picked up Independent Label of the Year and Erased Tapes won the Best Small Label prize.
