Wolf Alice unveil ‘Bros’ video
Tale of friendship gets a sweet new clip, filmed in Ellie Rowsell’s home neighbourhood.

The story behind Wolf Alice’s ‘Bros’ is simple, but it doesn’t get any less affecting. A tale of best friends, it was written about frontwoman Ellie Rowsell’s early years growing up in North London with Sadie Cleary, who used to play bass for the band before some lunatic called Theo Ellis stepped in.
An accompanying video for ‘Bros’ sees this BFF tale come to life. Two kids hang out in parks, kill time by climbing up trees and throw random objects in shopping trolleys. And it’s all filmed in the same North London neighbourhood where both Ellie and Sadie grew up. “It’s an ode to childhood imagination and friendship and all the charm that comes with that,” says Ellie. We dare you not to have a good cry.
Wolf Alice’s debut album is a) amazing and b) out via Dirty Hit on 22nd June. Pre-order here.
