Woo Hah! Festival moved to 2021
“We promise that WOO HAH! will come back stronger than ever!”
With Kendrick Lamar, slowthai, and loads of hip hop heavyweights set to perform, Woo Hah! festival has sadly had to announce that they’ll be postponing their 2020 edition until next year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Releasing a statement today, the festival says:
“Due to the ongoing global battle against COVID-19, the Dutch government has decided to prohibit all major events up until 1st September. As this rules out WOO HAH! for 2020, we will now return to Beekse Bergen 9-10-11 July 2021.
After the success of our sold-out edition in 2019, our team immediately started preparations to make WOO HAH! 2020 our best edition yet. In the last few weeks the COVID-19 pandemic spread further and further. We were reluctant to believe the pandemic would also put a stop to WOO HAH! 2020, but right now we’re at the point where a summer without WOO HAH! festival is inevitable. We were very eager to ensure WOO HAH! 2020 was our best edition yet - therefore this makes this a very difficult decision and feels like a huge defeat across the entire team.
This means a summer without the best hip hop acts on our stage, a summer without clouds of dusts erupting from our festival grounds due to all the mosh pits, but it most definitely will be a summer without all of your energy that is raised higher and higher every year… We kindly ask you to keep this energy stored for next year as WOO HAH! will return on 9-10-11 July 2021 at Beekse Bergen. We cannot wait to see you there!
We understand that this situation raises a lot of questions, including the validity of your tickets. We have been working closely with the Dutch initiative ‘Save Your Ticket, Enjoy Later’, which enables your ticket(s) to stay valid for WOO HAH! 2021 (9-10-11 July). This way you are guaranteed a ticket for our new edition and you will continue to support our organisation. Any pre-booked onsite accommodation at Beekse Bergen, upgrades to Camp WOO HAH! and additional tickets will also stay valid. All ticket buyers will receive an email soon with more info about all possibilities regarding your tickets.
Please visit woohahfestival.com for more info and Frequently Asked Questions.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact [email protected] or send your questions in during our Q&A on Instagram stories which will take place later this week.
We wish everyone a lot of strength in these uncertain times and send our thanks for your continued support. We promise that WOO HAH! will come back stronger than ever!
Stay Safe!Team WOO HAH! X”
