Years & Years air ‘Hypnotised’ in a short film by Baz Luhrmann

‘The Secret Life Of Flowers’ is set within a country house.

Years & Years have recorded a new track called ‘Hypnotised’, and it’s airing in a new sort film by director Baz Lurhmann.

‘The Secret Life Of Flowers’ – made for ERDEN x H&M – stars Harriet Walter, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and more, and is set within a country house that’s filled with, you guessed it, flowers.

As reported by Pitchfork, Olly Alexander said of the track: “The song is about falling head over heels for somebody and it totally up-ends everything you thought you knew about yourself”.

Meanwhile, Lurhmann said that the short film is “like a metaphor for our times—it’s harsh out there in the world, but in here, the things that really matter keep growing in an eternal spring”.

Recently, Olly has presented the BBC documentary ‘Growing Up Gay’ and also teamed up with Kele Okereke for the track ‘Grounds For Resentment’.
