Chart update
Years & Years set to top Official Albums Chart with ‘Communion’
Debut album is outselling the rest of the top ten combined - blimey.

Years & Years’ debut album ‘Communion’ is taking to the top of the Official Albums Chart.
Midweek figures (yes, midweeks come out on Monday now, because of albums being released on a Friday / Global Release Day) show the trio’s first work to be outselling the rest of the top ten combined.
Olly Alexander and co. are way ahead of Wembley’s favourite Ed Sheeran, with James Bay, Lionel Richie and Taylor Swift completing the midweek top five.
Other new entries include Prides (#14 with ‘The Way Back Up’), Four Tet (#30 with ‘Morning/Evening’) and Little Boots (#40 with ‘Working Girl’).
Check out the midweek top 40 via OfficialCharts.com. While you’re at it, watch Years & Years’ newly-unveiled interactive video for ‘Shine’.
