Years & Years stream ‘Shine’ from debut album
‘Communion’ is released this July.

Following the chart-topping ‘King’, Years & Years have unveiled their new single.
‘Shine’ is a glistening, house-nodding cut from their debut album ‘Communion’. The first work has been given a new release date of 10th July via Polydor - the single itself is out on 5th July.
“The metaphor of ‘shine’ and ‘shining’ comes from the way somebody can make you feel totally brand-new and special and re-made in the light of their love, but how that can feel incredibly unstable and overwhelming and make you want to destroy yourself,” explains frontman Olly Alexander, somewhat grimly.
Years & Years will play Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Latitude and the following UK dates:
MAY
19 York, Fibbers
20 Edinburgh, Liquid Room
23 Southampton Common
JUNE
01 Oxford, O2 Academy
02 Cambridge, The Junction
03 Exeter, The Lemon Grove
12 London, Shepherd’s Bush Empire
13 London, Shepherd’s Bush Empire
