Years & Years to host interactive music video on Channel 4 ad break
Fans will be able to choose between three performances, tomorrow night.

Years & Years are set to air the world’s first live televised interactive music video tomorrow night (10th July). It all sounds very elaborate, too.
From 9.45pm, Channel 4’s three-minute ad break will be taken over by Years & Years’ new ‘Shine’ single. Viewers will be able to vote between three different performances using hashtags #ChooseDark, #ChooseLight and #ChooseShadow, in the most ‘that’s very 2015’ scheme to hit television so far.
“We had a lot of fun playing with the different themes of light and we hope the audience enjoy experiencing our music in this new way,” say Years & Years.
Tomorrow also sees the release of their debut album ‘Communion’, which comes out on the first ever global release day / New Music Friday.
Years & Years will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
