Festivals Kero Kero Bonito bring the party to Latitude 2016
Judging by tonight’s showing, Kero Kero Bonito are just going to keep on growing.
DIY’s Alcove Stage has been one of the most lively corners of Henham Park all weekend, and Sunday night’s line-up is one of the most eclectic runs that this year’s Latitude has offered up.
Kero Kero Bonito follow sets from the intricate Three Trapped Tigers and rowdy boys in The Magic Gang, but they’re on blistering form. Recent single ‘Lipslap’ is even more cheeky live, and the set comes with all manner of stage props (the band’s signature flamingo only has one leg remaining, the other lost on tour), really ramping up the party feel.
While the band may be playing their biggest headline show to date later this year at London’s Scala, judging by tonight’s showing, Kero Kero Bonito are just going to keep on growing.
