Mikal Cronin previews new album with ‘ii) Gold’ track

California thrasher’s ‘MCIII’ is out this May.

Shoving restraint to one side, Californian Mikal Cronin has unveiled a new track from his forthcoming ‘MCIII’ LP (out 4th May on Merge).

‘ii) Gold’ is the latest song to be lifted from the record, blending Cronin’s signature melody knowhow with flooring levels of reverb - the whole thing sounds like it’s trying to escape the clutches of convention.

Listen to the new track below. Catch up with lead single ‘Made My Mind Up’ here.
