Spotify could be about to produce a video service
Company is rumoured to be readying a new platform.

Spotify looks set to expand its music streaming service into video.
A report from the Wall Street Journal suggests the company has been approaching digital producers for potential partnerships. It claims that Spotify is looking to acquire content and material from video networks which already have their own subscribers.
It’s looking to take on the likes of Youtube and Facebook Inc. with a Vevo-style service, rather than taking on anything like Netflix and Hulu. The emphasis is thought to be on original content instead of a service that directly resembles its music strategy.
Any move into video is likely to be announced at a press event in New York on 20th May.
