Midweeks
Glastonbury acts dominate in midweek charts, Lionel Richie leading the way
Wolf Alice, George Ezra, The Who, Hozier also in top 20.
After Florence + The Machine’s headline slot on Friday at Glastonbury helped her reclaim the top spot in Sunday’s Official Charts countdown with ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’, many other acts who appeared across the weekend dominate this week’s midweek chart countdown.
Sunday afternoon legend Lionel Richie is at #1 with ‘The Definitive Collection’, after his set was the most-watched of the weekend, with over 100,000 people estimated to have congregated at the Pyramid Stage.
Wolf Alice’s #2 debut ‘My Love Is Cool’ remains in the Top 10 at #9, while there are bumps for George Ezra, Hozier, Sunday headliners The Who and Jungle, who are at #26.
There are four Kanye West albums in the Top 100 - ‘The College Dropout’ is at 60, ‘Yeezus’ at 79, ‘Graduation’ at 87 and ‘Late Registration’ at 99.
