Clarence Clarity peers into the abyss with ‘Will to Believe’ video

South London producer Clarence Clarity’s videos come off like glimpses into a terrifying parallel world. Often non-sensical, scattered bursts of imagery, they’re like computers hyperventilating; digital life giving up and self-destructing.

With his new cut for ‘Will to Believe’, he’s enlisted the hand of Vinyl Williams to direct the hyperactive clip. “Rather that continuing to rip him off, I thought I’d ask him to get involved this time!” jokes the producer. “He’s created a fully 3D world based around some of my ideas of isolation in space, insanity in solitude, joy in the unknown and pushed them through his totally unique kaleidoscope of colour and mind-melting CGI.”

An interactive version of the video is set to land soon - in the meantime, we’ve got the first play of ‘Will to Believe’’s clip below.
