Premiere: Gwenno channels the druids in her ‘Eus Keus?’ video

Gwenno channels the druids in her ‘Eus Keus?’ video

The Welsh singer’s new album ‘Le Kov’ is out now via Heavenly Recordings.

Gwenno has just released her new album ‘Le Kov’ via Heavenly Recordings, and we’ve got the first play of her new video for its latest single.

‘Eus Keus?’ translates - wonderfully - as ‘Is There Cheese?’, and the new video continues on these barmy but brilliant lines, channelling the druids.

Speaking about the new clip over email, Gwenno says: “The Druids believed in the power of words and the magic that they created with repetition. Eus Keus? (Is there Cheese?) is a pagan pop song celebrating 10,000 years of cheese offering as a gift to the gods. We call on the people of Kernow, and beyond - chant with us!”

Gwenno continues her UK tour, running throughout this month, next stopping in Bristol tomorrow night (22nd March) at the Louisiana. There’s also a slew of festival appearances and a new London show at Islington Assembly Hall for October.
