Funk/blues-pop fusionists The Preatures have announced plans to release their debut album, ‘Blue Planet Eyes’.
Their first work is coming out in their home country and New Zealand on 26th September (pre-order). US release dates are confirmed but TBA. UK fans might have to wait a little longer, as plans are yet to be firmed up.
The record’s being led by a new track, ‘Somebody’s Talking’, which furthers the band’s jiving, driven rock ’n roll, all muted guitar licks and stirring synth lines.
Previous singles ‘Is This How You Feel?’ and ‘Two Tone Melody’ feature on the record, alongside seven new cuts.
Lead singer Isi Manfredi features on the album art, below. Check out a tracklist and listen to ‘Somebody’s Talking’.
