Vaults unveil the swarming ‘Poison’ from a new EP
‘Vultures’ is out this December, following the band’s first headline tour.
Exciting trio Vaults haven’t made a misstep in 2014, with all eyes focused on a debut album release next year. A string of stirring, emotion-led, murky synth pop tracks have guided the way, with new number ‘Poison’ providing no tonic for their 100% hitrate.
Premiering on DIY, it’s taken from the trio’s new EP, ‘Vultures’, linking up with a title-track and a yet-to-be-heard number, ‘Mend This Love’. With ‘Poison’, vocalist Blythe enters another headspace, vocals crackling under the wicked gaze of her chosen vice. Like everything in Vaults’ locker so far, the whole thing’s backed by a gloomy synth line, an emotional resonance most often found in ‘Amnesiac’-era Radiohead.
Next year, Vaults take to a special one-off show at London’s Village Underground. Tickets are on sale now. See all the band’s 2014/2015 dates below.
