Watch The National play new song ‘Checking Out’ at Treasure Island Music Festival
Track was originally called ‘Roman Candle’.
Over the weekend, The National debuted new song ‘Roman Candle’ during a show at a Los Angeles benefit show for Cooperative Education.
Since then, the track’s started going under a different title, ‘Checking Out’. At Treasure Island Music Festival, frontman Matt Berninger introduced the song by saying: “It was called something else yesterday. Today it’s called ‘Checking Out’. Tomorrow, nobody knows.”
