Currently holed up and working on their second album, Lonely The Brave have offered up a first taste of their forthcoming full-length.
The Cambridge five-piece, who are currently working on the follow-up to ‘The Day’s War’ with Ross Orton, have unveiled a new video for ‘Black Mire’, which is the first track to be taken from it.
The clip that accompanies the brooding track was directed by Jordan Martin and sees the band’s frontman David Jakes focused in the midst of a dark, intense performance.
Speaking of their new album to DIY a few months back, the band’s Ross Smithwick said: “There are lots of intricate parts and different sounds and textures happening on these songs that are sounding very interesting. All the guitar parts complement each other perfectly I think. We have made sure that when writing these guitar pieces they are properly thought out and intertwine nicely together.”
The band also have one live appearance scheduled so far, at Handmade Festival in Leicester. They play the O2 Academy as part of the weekender, which takes place from 29th April to 1st May.
