Let’s Eat Grandma have confirmed plans to release their brand new album ‘Two Ribbons’ early next year.
The duo - made up of Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth - will release the follow-up to their 2018 record ‘I’m All Ears’ on 8th April 2022 via Transgressive. The album was co-produced by the band themselves and David Wrench, and is ten tracks in length.
Following on from their previously-shared track ‘Hall of Mirrors’, the band have also offered up the album’s title track; its accompany video comes directed by El Hardwick.
Speaking of their newest track, Jenny has said: “‘Two Ribbons’ is a song I wrote to, and about, two of the closest people in my life, and how my relationships with them shifted over time through loss and life changes. It touches on the isolating experience of grieving, our powerlessness in the face of death, and the visceral emotions of grief.”
Alongside the news of their new album and single, Let’s Eat Grandma have also scheduled two live shows for 2022. They’ll play Norwich Arts Centre on 26th January and at XOYO in London on 27th January - tickets are available now.
