Listen: Each Other Preview Debut Album With ‘Send Your Signals’

If Canadian trio Each Other are sending out clear signals, as per the title of this new track, said signals are suggesting they’re finally ready to fulfil the huge potential their scrappy, excitable early demos initially suggested.

Now signed to Lefse Records (a branch of Fat Possum), the Montreal thrashers have always channelled similarly minded structure-shifters like the now defunct Women and the still going Faux Fur. 2012’s ‘Heavily Spaced’ EP showcased this in full splendour, with the preceding release ‘Taking Trips’ being a real jolt of experimental punk.

‘Send Your Signals’ is their latest track, heading up the ‘Being Elastic’ LP, released on 4th March 2014. Scatty and fast-paced, it gets by on sudden interruptions and musical curveballs. They show off their party trick - that of speeding things up to ridiculous lengths before bringing the whole thing back to ground - like never before.
