Listen: LYGER Stream Debut Track, ‘Stroke’
Colossal debut puts LYGER firmly on the rock-gods-in-waiting radar.

London three-piece LYGER don’t exactly politely knock before forcing themselves through the door. Their excitable, super-progressive debut track ‘Stroke’ aims for some outside stratosphere. It’s rude, obnoxious and working on an entirely different planet - always a good sign, when we’re talking about a first date.
As it stands, they remain unsigned, but there’s something in debut ‘Stroke’ that hoists them up to the level of Royal Blood and Radkey as fellow fuzz-bringing giants-in-waiting. Hints of Biffy collide with some unrelenting QOTSA-style riffage, all amounting to a track that’s a million times more colossal than the sum of its parts.
Currently recording with Rory Attwell, LYGER play their debut London date at the Old Blue Last on 4th December.
