Listen: Rad Frü Announce Debut Single ‘Metal Bar / Tempting Meat’
Glammy, Aerosmith-style riffs make quite the entrance on the London band’s debut.
A single titled ‘Tempting Meat’ and ‘Metal Bar’ was never going to be a poetic, softly-spoken gust of air, let’s face it. Instead, newly signed to Caledonia Records (Blaenavon, Los Porcos) Rad Frü are a band sporting some kind of deranged, Aerosmith-channelling incarnation, spiky riffs lining the seams.
‘Metal Bar’ is the first track from their debut single, out 3rd December. It’s shameless, glammed-up like a bunch of kids waiting to go out to a ’70s-themed club. Disgusting and doubtlessly aware of the fact, it’s a showy, boasty beast that sets the bar high for whatever’s coming next.
