Listen: Sales Share New Track, ‘Chinese New Year’

Orlando, Florida duo Sales have shared a track that’s already been called Lauren Morgan from the band’s mum’s favourite song of theirs. That gives ‘Chinese New Year’ some serious standing, arriving in unison with the celebration of the same name.

The track follows up breakout debut song ‘Renee’, plus a handful of similarly curious slices of minimal pop. ‘Chinese New Year’ again gets by on beach-side minimalism, but there’s a Hawaiian sway to this song, a dance by the shore that offers hope in Morgan’s declarations of ‘it’s time for me to make away.’
