Premiere: Listen: Augustines Unveil New Single ‘Nothing To Lose But Your Head’
Formerly We Are Augustines, the Seattle-based trio have unveiled the first cut from their follow-up to ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships’.

Having released their debut album back in 2011, Augustines are back and they come bearing a brand new single.
If you don’t quite recognise the name at first, have no fear: the Seattle-based trio have now simplified their previous guise, We Are Augustines, and are expected to unveil the follow-up to ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships’ next year.
In the meantime, the band are making a return to the airwaves with their brand new single ‘Nothing To Lose But Your Head’. Set for release on 3rd February through Caroline Records, you can now get a first listen of the track below.
“Augustines are a very lucky bunch. We are only here because of our fans’, offers up the band’s Billy McCarthy, speaking of the track. “There’s a great saying in America: ‘Dance with who brung ya.’ To me it means stick with who got you where you are. This song is about the realization that now is the time. Gone are the days of wandering around waiting for that right time. There is no right time, so go - ya got nothing to lose but your head.”
The band are also set to make a live return to the UK early next year, when they perform at London’s Lexington on 21st January. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (5th December) at 9am.
