Watch: Tokyo Police Club Unveil ‘Argentina (Parts I, II, III)’
Listen to a new, mammoth 8-minute preview of the band’s fourth album.
Few album previews come more ambitious than a three-part monster of a ‘Hello, we’re back!’ statement. Tokyo Police Club are providing this with ‘Argentina (Parts I, II, III)’, a take from their as yet untitled fourth album and follow-up to 2010’s ‘Champ’.
The Canada group get back in gear with the help of an 8-minute lyric video that’s a jumbling together of television static and confetti; the perfect companion to their rough-edged, all-embracing sound. It’s good to have them back - something suggests they might be approaching the form of their lives.
