Get excited about... Charli XCX’s new album ‘Sucker’ will make her the best pop star in the world (probably)

The internet is too full of people being cynical. Screw that. Sometimes music just makes us run around in dizzy circles - so pumped we need to get it out there. ‘Get excited about…’ is unashamed arm waving giddiness, because honestly, sometimes it’s worth it.

We don’t get the pop stars we need, we get the pop stars we deserve. Except where Charli XCX is concerned. With her, we’re getting exactly what we’ve been crying out for. Attitude, rebellious spirit and bangers by the wheelbarrow load, after a nice sideline in propping up other artists with top drawer writing credits and show stealing features, she’s finally got round to, y’know, taking over the world and stuff.

Next month sees the release of her second (or third, depending how picky you’re being) album ‘Sucker’. Here’s why you should be already turning blue with excitement.
