Charli xcx confirms new album ‘Music, Fashion, Film’
Here we go again…

It’s official - Charli xcx’s next record, ‘Music, Fashion, Film’, will be arriving on Friday 24th July.
The news comes after a busy few weeks for the pop superstar, who dropped the LP’s lead single, ‘Rock Music’, last month. Since then, she’s also shared ‘SS26’ and teased its non-album “B-side” ‘Playboy Bunny’, which is currently only available via Instagram and on limited edition 7” vinyl.
It probably doesn’t need saying, but ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ will be the hugely-anticipated follow-up to 2024’s ‘brat’, the runaway success and multi-modal force which saw Charli cement herself at the forefront of artistic boundary-pushing and contemporary culture.
Since ‘brat’, Charli has penned the soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s recent Wuthering Heights film adaptation; created and starred in The Moment (a mockumentary-style film exploring the cultural hysteria around her infamous lime-green LP), and continued building on her love of cinema by acting, writing, producing, and scoring projects with directors such as Takashi Miike, Greg Araki and Cathy Yann.
Bringing her three passions together, then, is ‘Music, Fashion, Film’. Just look at the album’s cover art; shot by Aidan Zamiri, it features none other than John Cale (The Velvet Underground’s co-founder and Charli’s ‘House’ collaborator), Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese.
