THE GIG
CLOUT!, The Wytches, Dogfeet - Birthdays, London

It’s a good year since CLOUT! released their debut single on Dirty Bingo Records, whereas the Southend group are joined by some ridiculously fresh-faced young’s. The Wytches follow up a recent date with Metz with another show at Birthdays, and the lunacy of Dogfeet also makes an appearance.

THE SONG
Bite Me - Want You Back For Good

Former Bos Angeles bro Rich Board (pictured, above) is back. There’s no information yet about this new project called Bite Me, but you won’t catch us complaining as we’re too busy enjoying ‘Want You Back For Good’. Said track rattles into life with a pulsating rhythm section before the vocals take a playful twist, which suddenly turns into a captivating series of ‘oohs’. After the fashion with which Bos Angeles ended it’s great to hear Rich putting some fun back into his music again. [Samuel Cornforth]

OTHER NEU BUSINESS
The Everywheres - Frightened Face

Incoming: Some good-natured beach-pop to help swing Summer into motion. Yeah, The Everywheres have been studying the Real Estate guide to good-vibed, steady and sedated guitar music, but that shouldn’t stop us from falling into their charms. Information is scarce on these guys, so you’ll have to make do with ‘Frightened Face’ and your fake pair of Ray Bans.
