The Wytches, charlieeeee, Moreish Idols and more added to Beyond The Music 2024 bill
The Manchester new music festival and conference is back for its second edition this October.

Having hosted its inaugural event in 2023, Manchester’s Beyond The Music returns this year between 9th-12th October for a three day takeover of the city’s Northern Quarter and Aviva Studios. Today, the festival has unveiled the latest wave of artists to be added to 2024’s already bursting-at-the-seams lineup.
Among the new names are Brighton psych-rockers The Wytches, hyperpop newcomer charlieeeee, and Speedy Wunderground favourites Moreish Idols, who’ll join the likes of Alien Chicks, Human Interest, Shelf Lives, and many more at the inner-city weekender this Autumn.
With an ethos of ‘no artists, no music’ at its core, Beyond The Music aims to platform grassroots artists from across a range of genres, with particular focus placed on those from the North West of England (25% of this year’s lineup are artists based in the region).
Explaining more about the festival’s approach, founder Oli Wilson has said: “Our festival is all about supporting the new wave of music talent. We haven’t booked headliners, we’ve selected this lineup with an amazing range of curators and also from several thousand new artists that applied to play this year.
“From going through that process and booking the festival it seems like there is a revolution pending in music and we’re really proud to be able to give a platform to this new generation of musicians. The talent isn’t just in one genre, it’s in every genre, and we’re representing that diverse mix of music and people in the festival.”
