THE GIG
Blaenavon, Weird Era, Moses Gold - Manchester, Dulcimer Bar
Fresh-faced Blaenavon gave one hell of a cheeky interview earlier this month. But considering they’ve a single out on paradYse Records and a headline slot at tonight’s show in Manchester’s Dulcimer Bar, you’d probably be acting the same way. Local Neu faves Weird Era and Moses Gold support, the latter likely to present something unhinged and engrossing for those entering the venue early on. Then it’s onto the weekend.
Tickets are £4.00.
THE WEEKEND GIG
Sunday 31st March: Troumaca, Romare - Birmingham, Hare and Hounds
About that weekend. If you’re in B-town, local heroes-to-be Troumaca headline a show at the Hare and Hounds. Their recent EP was released on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label, and said DJ is hosting tonight’s event. Tickets available here.
THE SONG
Pawws - Slow Love
It won’t be long before Lucy Taylor’s something of a household name - certainly amongst types like yourself who hound the blogs day-in, day-out. ‘Slow Love”s the first non ‘demo’ appearing on her Soundcloud. It’s an instant sugar-sweet rush of glossy production and hard-hitting choruses. Pawws has every reason to become absurdly huge within the next few months.
