News The Neu Bulletin (2nd October 2012)
Azealia Banks features in Neu’s daily guide to gigs and new music tips.
Neu’s guide to nights out and must hear bands continues, with enough recommendations to render you lifeless - or at the very least, extremely busy. Gigs and tips: We’ve got you sorted.
WHO’S PLAYING WHERE?
Usually our bulletins stay central to the country’s capital and that’s largely because emerging bands see it as a necessity to focus their meteoric rise in London. But today’s recommendation has ‘been and done that’. Azealia Banks draws crowds in the thousands every single time, and to think she’s yet to release an album makes you a) realise how bloody huge ‘212’ was as a single and b) wonder whether she really must release that debut of hers or if she’s better off taking her time and sacking her entourage on a monthly basis. Anyway, Liverpool: Enjoy Azealia.

They follow one record label on Soundcloud: Captured Tracks. Listen to the below and tell us the band and label wouldn’t make a perfect match:

Not even singing in French makes a dent in her cause for fame, in fact in only makes us more besotted. ‘Petit Garçon’ is a work of colourful subtlety. Working with Max Pope and Luke Bower, stream 9mary’s latest effort in the video above.
