Olivia Dean continues awards season sweep at 2026 MOBOs

Olivia Dean has emerged victorious from yet another awards ceremony, after winning three major trophies - Album of the Year (for ‘The Art Of Loving’), Song of the Year (for ‘Man I Need’) and Best Female Act - at last night’s MOBO Awards.

Her triumph follows big wins at both the GRAMMYs and BRITs too - the latter of which, like the MOBOs, was this year held at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena. Beyond Olivia, Jim Legxacy was named Best Male Act, while FLO, Nova Twins, and Central Cee all picked up accolades in their respective genre categories. 

Celebrating 30 years of the MOBO Organisation, which Founder and CEO Kanya King CBE has said “was born out of a desire to create space where there was none - to recognise, celebrate and elevate Black music and culture,” the 2026 event also recognised the achievements of Pharrell Williams and Slick Rick, both of whom were presented with special honours.
